Alenda Golf Course

We divide our blog into different sections for your convenience:

The Alenda Golf Club is situated close to the Sierra de las Aguilas mountains and was designed by Roland Favrat, who has tried to keep the characteristics of the land as much as possible with its subtle movements in elevation which provide some great views across the golf course. The course was opened in 1999 and has a par of 72 it is not too long in todays terms, being 5,908 meters off the standard yellow blocks, this course is not about length it is about putting the ball in the right place to give you the chance to attack the greens! There are several holes that I am sure you will enjoy, but there are two that stand out! The 6th hole has an elevated tee box and provides you a good picture of what is required, your tee shot is over an out of bounds area and the braver you are the shorter the second shot will be, but bite off too much and you will be three off the tee. The last hole (18) is an uphill short par 4 where the green is protected by bunkers and is a good closing hole before leaving the course for a drink and something to eat in the very modern and well-designed club house – Enjoy your round!
