We divide our blog into different sections for your convenience:

Alicante Golf is located on the spectacular San Juan beach just 5 minutes from the centre of Alicante. The par 72, 6,057-meter course was designed and opened by Severiano Ballesteros in 1998, he has created a real gem inside the city with an unusual layout of 6 par 3’s, 6 par 4’s and six par 5’s, which means that you never play two consecutive holes with the same par and creates a course that you have to plot your way around. The course is also known due to the ruins of a Roman Villa, from the first century BC on the 14th hole, which was excavated during the construction of the course. The course is varied with some holes being very tight, such as the 5th hole that has water infront of the tee, lined by trees on both sides, creating an intimidating tee shot, if you find the fairway you then have a two-tiered green which is protected by bunkers left and right, a great hole! On the back 9 you have hole 17, which is a cracking par 3, with O/B to your left and water all the way from tee to green on the right and is 177 meters of the yellow tees, it is an attractive hole to the eye but one that could ruin a good card, so beware! Check the website out before you come as there is a fly over facility showing you each of the holes, which is nice touch.
