Villamartin Golf Course was constructed in 1972 by Paul Putman, who has created a course that has teeth and will bite you when you least expect it. The golf course is not too long in today terms being 6,005 meters off the back tees, but offers a good challenge to all levels of golfers and one well worth visiting while you are here! There are several holes that you will enjoy and look back on, such as the 10th hole, which you will sometimes start from, which is a daunting challenge, with houses all the way up the left, trees and shrubs all the way up the right, several old pine trees on the fairway to avoid and a raven infront of the green – How does that sound? Later, in the round you have the stunning 17th a par 3 which is almost 200 meters off the back tee, with a double tiered green, you must put the ball in the right place or you can easily 3 putt! Finally, you have the clubhouse which is rustic and has a veranda that looks out over the 18th hole so you can relax with a drink and watch the rest of you group come in – Enjoy!
