Energy Performance Certificates

We divide our blog into different sections for your convenience:

As from the 1st June 2013 all properties in Spain that are for sale or are being rented out for more than 4 months per year must have an EPC. As always the Spanish Government have left it to the last minute to put the EU Directive into place .We are now seeing a rush of sellers and renters applying for their EPC to avoid a fine. We have set up a panel of certified Assesors who can professionally provide you with an Energy Performance Certificate . With prices set at 200 Euros plus IVA you will be guaranteed a fully compliant Energy Performance Certificate which can then be registered at the Town Hall. We have noticed some companies providing certificates that are cheaper and not legal , it is better to deal with a reputable company. If you have had an EPC done please ensure that it has the catastral number on the certificate if not then your EPC is invalid and you will not be able to sell or rent your property and you may be caught with a heavy fine.
