Font del Llop Golf Course was opened in 2010, but even though it has only been around for 7 years it is already getting a reputation as a good challenge to all standards of golfers, the course sits perfectly inside a valley and blends in with the countryside. There is a small driving range, chipping area, putting green and a warm welcome for everyone. The course is a par 72, measuring only 5,864 meters off the yellow tees, but don’t be fooled there are many holes that catch you out, such as the 4th hole, which is only 378meters of the yellows, but there are bunkers left and right and fairway falls away to you right with a hill to the left of the fairway, if you find the fairway you then a mid-iron into a green protected by a tree, you really need to draw the ball in and you may walk off with a par? The best hole in my opinion is the 9th, a par 5 which is index 1, the tee shot is over water, you then have two fairways to choose from, with the left side giving you an easier approach if you feel brave, when you get there the green is tough to read and you can easily 3 putt, it is lovely course and one you feel most welcomed at!
