La Marquesa Golf Course was designed and founded by D. Justo Quesada in 1981 and is located between Rojales and Quesada. The golf course is a par 72 course measuring up to 6,115 meters and offers a mixture of holes that will make you think on the tee what club to hit, it is not a course you can stand on the tee and just pick a driver, to get a good score here you will need to plan your way around and you will enjoy it even more! There are several holes that stand out, such as the closing par 5 which is 585 meters long, but one of my favorites is Hole 14, with an elevated tee, houses to your right, rocks and trees to your left, you need to hit your drive long and down the left-hand side to leave you a shot in, anything else and you are going to have a blind second shot to this beautiful dog leg. After enjoying your round, the facilities are there to sit outside and watch others tee off of the 1st Hole and take in the views, it really is a lovely course and one I play often.!
